With the Chinese New Year’s coming, filial piety activity by phone was held on January 17th by our prison cooperating with Chunghwa Telecom Changhua service center.  The amount of prisoners calling was totally 2547 to contact with families and give blessing to them.  Prisoners were inhibited from having a family reunion, but they could convey real affection to their families. 

Additionally, face to face reunion 280 prisoners and 574 dependents of them took part in was held on January 22th.  This activity was divided into two time frames, morning and afternoon.  This method not only increased the formality’s efficiency but promoted space comfort.  Creative arts class revealed the curtain raiser in this activity.  Prisoners displayed training results, inclusive of lion dance troupe welcoming spring animatedly, Tai Chi Fan with vigorously youthful power, relaxed and vivid harmonica play and adoring Angklung concert.  These achievements impressed all families.  In the process of the reunion, prisoners did a massage for their families in behalf of their dependents coming a long way without regrets.  A number of prisoners were so melt into tears; meanwhile, they enjoyed warm and happy time with satisfaction.  Also, we invited prisoners to speak out their acknowledgement and blessing to their families on the stage. 

At this very moment, the place was filled with warmth and gratitude atmosphere.
